She was predeceased by: her husband Victor Garrington; and her siblings, Russell Smyth, Eileen Neithercut and Alice Ptolemy. She is survived by: her sons, Larry Garrington and Jim Garrington (Wendy); her grandchildren, Kevin Garrington (Darcy), Laura Jones (Shawn) and Alison Uger Sandra (Marc); and her great grandchildren, Michael, Sophie Garrington, Aiden, Aria Jones, Owen, Jack, Avery Uger, Mason and Emma Youritchuk.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Tallman Funeral Homes (3277 King St, Vineland, ON L0R2C0). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Pleasantview Cemetery (2250 ON-20, Fonthill, ON L0S1E6).
Memorial donations in memory of Dora can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Niagara (https://alzheimer.ca) or Ronald McDonald House Family Room at the Marotta Family Hospital in St Catharines.
