With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dan Covelli (Thorold, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 15, 2025 at the age of 74. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dan Covelli to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvatore and Angelina. He is survived by: his spouse Desa Boric; his pet Luke; his daughters, Carrie, Melanie (Wayne Pine) and Danielle (Mike Valeriote); his grandson Trenton; the mother of his children Irene Covelli; and his siblings, Pat (Renata) and Anna (Jim McGeown). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Pleasantview Funeral Home (2000 Merrittville Hwy., Thorold L0S1E6). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 2:45 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pleasantview Memorial Gardens (2250 ON-20, Fonthill, ON L0S1E6). A reception will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Pleasantview Funeral Home (2000 Merrittville Hwy., Thorold L0S1E6).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Mental Health Association.
