Derk Lammers Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Derk Lammers (Thorold, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 23, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arent and Gerda; and his father-in-law James Gruenwald. He is survived by: his wife Deborah; his siblings, Art (Martha), Elsa (Michael Wilson), Gerald and Ed; his siblings' children, Kimberly and Brent (Jessica); his great-nephews, Joshua, James and Nathan; his mother-in-law Marlene Gruenwald; his extended family, Joan Bartlett, Loris, Lili, Jennifer, Christopher (Joanna) and Laura; Leslie Coventry.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Pleasantview Funeral Home (2000 Merrittville Hwy., Thorold L0S1E6). A reception was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
