He is survived by: his spouse Philda; his children, Brenda Bascus, Adelaide Lee (David), Neavera DeMorais (Manny) and Steven Albertyn (Linda); his grandchildren, Bonnie (Todd), Shantelle, Kelvin, Joshua (Daniela), Derrick (Jasmine), Jaiden (Jeremy) and Carson; his great grandchildren, Denae (Franco), Jacob and Lukas; his great great grandchildren, Dax, Xavier, Palmer, Kai, Oriana and Nico; his siblings, Mona Seidel, Aubrey Albertyn (Sonia), Julie Fillis (Ambrose) and Rose Lekay; and his caregiver Pleasantview.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pleasantview Funeral Home (2000 Merrittville Hwy., Thorold L0S1E6). A reception will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
