Diane will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Diane will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Diane’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Calder and Corrine Calder; and her sister Sharon Swartz. She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey (Erin) and Kimberly Costello (Chap); her sisters, Carolyn Iafrate (Piero) and Debbie Morrison (Al); and her brother-in-law Mark Swartz. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
A Celebration of Diane's Life will be held at Pleasantview Funeral Home on Thursday, August 6, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. In honour of Diane's love for animals, the family invites those who wish, in lieu of flowers, to consider a memorial donation to Cedar Row Farm Sanctuary or to a charity of their choice.
