We bid farewell to Fortunato Futia (Thorold, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 8, 2024 at the age of 75. Fortunato touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by : his parents, Salvatore Futia and Filomena Futia; and his in-laws, Renato and Verra Sanna. He is survived by : his wife Dolores Aurora Futia (Sanna); his children, Renata Albanese (Remo), Sam Futia (Tina) and Franca Milana (Mike); his grandchildren, Alexandra Figliomeni (Roberto), Marco, Julia Albanese, Luna and Lorenzo Milana; his great grandchild Sofia Figliomeni; his sisters, Maria Tricomi (Alfredo), Marcella Futia (Mario) and Valeria Caccamo (Pasquale); his sisters-in-law, Zios and Zias; his family, Dr. Linda Lee, Nicole, Dr. Katrin Conen and Merek; and his close friend Dr. Robert Dinawell. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked to make a donation in Frank's memory to Sick Kids Hospital.
