He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Townsend and Rhoda Townsend. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Michael Richard Carter, Jeremy Morgan Townsend (Darragh), Dana Marie Wallwork (Nathan) and Dean William Frederick Carter (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Ashley Culp, Mason Culp, Ashton Townsend, Deacon Townsend, Colton Townsend, Cameron Waite, Selena Sniegocki, Shayla Sniegocki and Lincoln Carter; his sisters, Nancy Wakefield (Randy Kurceba) and Carole Martin (Harry); his mother-in-law Shirley McDonald; and his siblings-in-law, Diane Taylor (Dean), Sheila Littlewood (Doug), David Patriquin, John Patriquin (Wendy) and Derek Patriquin (Lou). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the LHIN (formerly CCAC) or NHS- Walker Family Cancer Center will be appreciated by his family.
