He was predeceased by: his wife Lucille; and his sisters, Julianna (late Bill) and Gina (Romano). He is survived by: his children, Cindy (Al), Nancy (Alvin), Richard (Helene) and Brenda (Peter); his grandchildren, Sarah (Steven), Miles (Anna), Emerson (Charlotte), Shawn (Shannon) and Devon; his great grandchildren, Liam, Vali, Shawn Junior, Savannah and Seth; his siblings, Dino (Dale), Linda (Jim), Sylvia (George), Mary (Cliff), Maria (Carlos), Johnny (Albina) and Rosa (Michael); and his siblings-in-law, Laurel (Bob) and Larry. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many friends.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Diabetes Society would be greatly appreciated by George's family.
