With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George Pauls (Thorold, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 17, 2026 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though George may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his sons, David and Matthew (Jen); his grandchildren, Georgia and Evan; and his siblings, Bonnie and Rick (Heather).
Visitation was held on Monday, March 2nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Pleasantview Funeral Home (2000 Merrittville Hwy., Thorold L0S1E6). A reception was held on Monday, March 2nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice Niagara.
