With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George V. Dorward (Thorold, Ontario), born in Harworth, East Midlands, who passed away on January 7, 2021 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George V. Dorward to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his sisters, Olive, Emma and Cicely; and his parents, George Jane and Elizabeth Jane.

He is survived by : his wife Lorna Ruth; his children, Steve (Deanna), Mike (Kimberly) and Ann (Steve); his grandchildren, Melissa, Shane, Keyanna, Kenzie, Christine, Emily, Grace and Graham; and his nieces and nephews, June, Paul, Stuart, David, Cheryl, Lynn, Alan, Tony, Susan and Ruth.

Memorial donations can be made to the The Royal Canadian Legion Dominion Command Poppy Trust Fund (legion.ca/donations).
