In loving memory of Gina Avolio (Thorold, Ontario), who departed this world on May 18, 2025 at the age of 78. Gina leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Mario; her children, Rick, Enzo Avolio (Julie) and Nancy Bellefontaine (Dennis); her grandchildren, Daniel, Matthew, Andrew, Sarah, Mehgan and Delicia; her sisters, Anna and Tonina Ultimo-Di Cato; her brother-in-law Antonio Avolio (late Anna); and her parents, Carmine Vincenzo and Giuseppina Ultimo. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pleasantview Funeral Home (2000 Merrittville Hwy., Thorold L0S1E6). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the same location.
