She is survived by: her friends, Norbert and Hanni Kuebeck; her family, Wolfgang, Gisela and Dirk; her stepchildren, Ken and Sandi Smith; her grandchildren, Doug (Sharon) of Schomberg and Diana (Beverley) of Waterloo; and her great grandchildren, Ryan, Alex, Cassady, Andrew, Chloe (Alicia) and Megan.
In lieu of flowers, her family requests that donations be made to Salvation Army who were very helpful when Gisela first arrived in Canada in 1952.
