Ivan Giles Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ivan Giles (Thorold, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 15, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Matthew and Fannie; and his siblings, Tom, Wilfred, Hubert, Raymond, Mary and Minnie.

He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his children, Alison and Ivan (Talana); his stepsons, Brian Babcock (Jane) and Cameron Babcock (Tanya); his grandchildren, Jenna, Justin (Hannah), Elle and Cole; his great grandchildren, Keelan and Nash; and his siblings, Dot Piercey (Reg) of Ramea, Irene Giles of Ramea, Alfreda Cornish of Ramea and George Giles (Joyce) of Ramea. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society will be appreciated by his family.
