He was predeceased by: his parents, Clara and Frank; and his siblings, Bill Whitwell, Lorne Whitwell, Windy Whitwell and Mary Young.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Whitwell (Wodle); his children, Todd Whitwell (Brenda), Becki Falardeau (Jeff) and John Whitwell (Shannon); his grandchildren, Justine Mitchell, Trey Whitwell, Jackson, Avery, Addison Falardeau, Lena and Jack Whitwell; and his siblings, June Radford, Sadie Smith, Betty Blance, Tom Whitwell and Helen Reece.

Memorial donations in memory of Jack may be made to SickKids or SMASH Alzheimer's.
