Joan Pearl Churms Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of Joan Pearl Churms (Thorold, Ontario) is shared. Joan, born on October 5, 1946, passed away on September 30, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Joan will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honour Joan by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Joan is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Joan’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.

She was predeceased by: her husband Grant; her parents, Mitchell Shabley and Annie Shabley; and her sibling Becca. She is survived by: her siblings, Sherry Couvrette, Michael Shabley, Joe Shabley (Shelly), Sophie Digout and Robert. She is also survived by other nieces and her nephew.
