He is survived by: his wife Linda Gourlie; his children, Debra Lynn Gourlie and John Erie Gourlie; his grandchildren, Ashley, Jordon, Charlotte and Madeline; his great grandchildren, Cory and Eli; his sister Eleanor Lewis; his siblings-in-law, Norma Locke and Douglas; his niece Margaret Brunke; and his nephew Darrell Brunke. He is also survived by his many extended family members, including his great-nieces and great-nephews, as well as many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pleasantview Funeral Home (2000 Merrittville Hwy., Thorold, ON L0S1E6). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
