He was predeceased by: his wife Lenora Evelyn Broughton; his brother Terry; his sisters-in-law, Dorothy (Gordon) and Ruby (Morley); and his parents, Jack Broughton and Margaret Broughton.
He is survived by: his children, Patti (Keith) and Sean; his grandchildren, Nathan (Salem) and Claire; and his siblings, Alice, Allen, Eric, Tim (Lynn) and Mary Beth. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 13th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Pleasantview Funeral Home (2000 Merrittville Hwy., Thorold, ON L0S1E6).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society Niagara Region would be appreciated.
