Joy H Porteous Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Joy H Porteous (Thorold, Ontario). Joy, born on October 21, 1948, passed away on October 30, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Barrie Porteous; her parents, Eva Parslow and Wallace Parslow; and her brother Gary Parslow. She is survived by: her sons, Gary Savoie (Lisa) and Derrick Savoie (Jennifer); her stepdaughters, Liz Ugolini (Greg) and Jackie Torresan (Sandro); her grandchildren, Claire (Jake), Kiara, Graham (Breena), Alex and Victoria; her great grandchildren, Evander, Eddison, Colton, Carson and Violet; and her sister Gayle Howard (Gord).
A burial will be held on Thursday, November 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Pleasantview Cemetery (2250 ON-20, Thorold, ON L0S1E6).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Research at the University of Western Ontario in honour of Joy.
