She was predeceased by: her spouse Dr. Balwant Kashinath Joshi; her parents, Narayan Bapat and Ramabai Bapat; and her siblings, Nirmala Deval (late Vishwanath Deval), Vimala Joshi (late Gangadhar Joshi) and Dr. Yashwant Bapat (Snehalata Bapat).
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Suhas B. Joshi (Sangeeta), Vikas B. Joshi (Vasudha) and Dr. Shubhada Javlekar (Dhananjay); her grandchildren, Sonali (Brad), Smita, Satyavrat (Jin), Suchitra (Anirudh), Ashwini (Glenn) and Priyanka; and her siblings, Shakuntala Nigudkar (late Damodar Nigudkar) and Dr. Purscha Bapat (Adelhied Bapat). She is also survived by nephews, extended family members, dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Niagara Health Foundation.
