He was predeceased by : his parents, Rocco D'Ammizio and Angela D'Ammizio. He is survived by : his children, Carla (Hewson) and Michael (Alsop); his stepchild Lee (Alsop); his granddaughter Kate Hewson; his siblings, Josie Lauzon (André) and Liana Urquhart (Lorne Adams); his close friend Tina Alsop; his nieces, Natalie Rangkla (Somkiat), Chantal Deknatel (late Walter Miller) and Angela Osborne (Mark); his nephew David Urquhart; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jonah, Abbey Deknatel, Dreyson and Keaton Osborne.
