She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Butler; her daughter-in-law Victoria Butler; and her siblings, Oakland Main, Donald Main, Howard Main, Helen Doan and Mildred Bennison.

She is survived by: her son Douglas Butler; and her grandchildren, Todd Butler and Jodie Butler. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

“I found out about Marjory's passing today. You see, my 6 year old grandson, Sebastian, and Marjory had become friends on his visits to see his great-grandfather.He was with me today, when we found out about her death, and was very upset.I told her he should be glad that she spent the last year of her life being so happy to see him, and , just maybe, she would now be his angel in Heaven.We will both miss her very much.”
