We are sad to announce that, on February 6, 2026, at the age of 100, Mary Eileen Tapley (Thorold, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Mary Eileen may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Fred Tapley; her son Mark Tapley (Ann Caram); her grandchildren, Laura Sparkman (Corey) and Adrian Tapley; and her great grandchildren, Liam and Emma Sparkman.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Mount Carmel Retirement Home.
