Maureen Catherwood Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maureen Catherwood (Thorold, Ontario), who passed away on August 22, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Maureen may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.

She was predeceased by: her daughter Karen Nicole Jensen; and her great grandchild Akiva. She is survived by: her children, Julie Sarine Matthews (Ron) and Jon Paul Jensen; her grandchildren, Jessica Matthews (Vick) and Justin Matthews; her great grandchildren, Isabella and Justin; and her pets, Winston and Milo.
