With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Casagrande (Thorold, Ontario), who passed away on November 23, 2020 at the age of 51. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Frank, Maria Romeos, Bruno and Natalia Casagrande; and his uncles, Robert Romeo and Livio Casagrande.

He is survived by: his parents, Luigi and Lina (Romeo). He is also survived by his Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Due to the COVID – 19 restrictions, Visitation and Funeral will be by invitation only.

In memory of Michael, donation may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.

“I was saddened to hear about Michael’s passing. I first met Michael through CYO Hockey at St. Mary where I was his coach for many years. He was a happy-go-lucky boy back then and was a wonderful, caring teammate to so many. When I met him again long after those hockey days, his good nature and zest for life were still with him. He is one of those boys that I really enjoyed coaching and getting to know. He is very special and I will miss him. My most sincere condolences to all of his family.”
