With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Monika Vietgen (Thorold, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Monika left this world on January 5, 2026 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Heinz; and her parents, Louisa Unger and Adolf Unger. She is survived by: her children, Jasmin Beaudin (Gilles), Ronald and Peter; her grandchildren, Rob Fuciarelli (Courtney) and Michelle Fuciarelli; her great grandchildren, Ciara, Jackson, Owen and Naomi; her sisters-in-law, Cora Pietrek and Gudrun Voelkel (Werner); and her caregivers, Rebecca and Raman. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, as well as many dear friends.
