Rossana Rau Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rossana Rau (Thorold, Ontario), who passed away on March 11, 2025, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Walter; her children, Julia Hand (Mike) and Nicholas; her mother Laura DeFazio (late Mario); her siblings, Robert DeFazio (Dana) and Antonella Leone (James); and also, Henrietta, George Rau (Joanne) and Lana Bialy (John).
Viewing was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pleasantview Funeral Home (2000 Merrittville Hwy., Thorold L0S1E6). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the same location.
Donations to MS Canada or Canadian Blood Services, Hamilton, would be appreciated by her family.
