It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Salvatore Ianni (Thorold, Ontario), who passed away on April 19, 2026, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gino Ianni and Carmela Coccimiglio. He is survived by: his daughters, Carmela Ianni, Sofia Barath (Tom) and Silia Stapleton (Josh); his grandsons, Aiden and Atreyu; the mother of his children Annamaria Caldaroni; his siblings, Vince Figliomeni, Anna Maria, Dionigi (Fortunata), Francesco (Inna) and Pina (Salvatore); his nieces and nephews, Giovanni (Laura), Emanuela (Davide), Gino (Francesca), Floriana (Luciano), Valentina (Cristiano), Davide and Alessio; his brother-in-law Ippolito Pellegrini; and his mother-in-law Vincenzina Scarapicchia Caldaroni.
As an expression of sympathy, those who wish are encouraged to make a memorial donation in our dad's honour to the Hotel Dieu Shaver Foundation or the Niagara Health Foundation.
