He was predeceased by: his parents, Steven Lastiwka and Joan Lastiwka; and his siblings, Gayle Hildebrandt, Brenda Levenne and Ronald Levenne.

He is survived by: his partner Jean Duguay; his son Steven; his stepchildren, Chantelle (John), Christina and Raven; his grandchildren, Reign, John, Ben, Oaklyn, Murdena (Trevor), Richard, Brook, Kayla, Crystal, Kevin Jr., Madisyn, Raiden and Ruby; his great grandchild Donny; his siblings, Deborah Lehr (Steven), Cathy Lastiwka, Robert Lastiwka and Cindy Paczkowski (John); and his brother-in-law Ernie Hildebrandt. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many extended family.
