It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Victor Blake Kala (Thorold, Ontario), who passed away on November 3, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Victor leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Victor may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his mother Yvonne; his sister Christine; and his brother-in-law Paul. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Pleasantview Funeral Home (2000 Merrittville Hwy., Thorold L0S1E6). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Farley Foundation.
