He was predeceased by: his wife Annie; his son Dennis; his parents, Erikki and Tyyne; and his siblings, Violet Renaud and Einar.
He is survived by: his daughter Shirley Blanchette (George); his grandsons, Gerald (Jen) and Bryan (Alicia); his great grandchildren, Kaylee, Colby, Edward and Alexandria; his sister Helvi Moore; his niece Charmaine; and his nephews, Ralph and Neil.
