He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois Box and Alton C. Box; and his brother Glen Box. He is survived by: his wife Betty Box; his children, Alicia Turner (Dale) and Russell Box; his grandchildren, Monica Fiero (Steven), Doug Turner, Michael Franklin, Devin Box (Ziedy) and Cheyanne Box (Nolan); and his great grandchildren, Anabeth Box, Elijah Box, Sophia Fiero and Logan Fiero.
