Anja left this world on November 25, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Enni Seppala and Matti Seppala; her siblings, Jukka and Anneli; her friend Santo Pellegrino; and her former spouse Mauri Seppala.
She is survived by: her daughters, Helena Spencer (Wade) and Pirjo Niittynen (Randy); her grandchildren, Corey Spencer (Samantha), Emily Spencer, Seija Tansey (Ross) and Nicholas Niittynen (Brooke); her daughter Haley Greenwood; her great grandchildren, Miia, Emma, Wyatt and Jasper; her brothers, Kalevi (Soile) and Timo (Virva); and her siblings' children, Maria, Lotty, Tiina and Kimmo.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hilldale Lutheran Church (321 Hilldale Rd, Thunder Bay, ON P7A8A2).
