With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Antonietta Barca (Thunder Bay, Ontario), who passed away on July 26, 2025 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Serafino; her son Frank; her grandson Adrian; her siblings, Tony, Maria, Carmela, Giulia, Gilda and Francesca; and her in-laws, Emma Rucchetto, Alessandro Barca and Rita Chiappetta.
She is survived by: her children, Mike (Anna), James (Judie), Mario, Mary Ratana-Rueangsri (Nok) and Amelia Osadec; her grandchildren, Katherine (Bob), Kristy, Lindsay (Curtis), Stephanie, Lauren (Richard), Andrew (Victoria), Janelle (Trevor) and Jennifer; her great grandchildren, Cohen, Ben, Braden, Felix, Weston, Charlotte, Madeline, Chloe, Lillia, Grayson and Bodhi; her nieces, Julie Rucchetto, Angie Maxted and Mena Tarailo; her siblings, Carmine and Fiorina; and her sister-in-law Maria Barca.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church (123 Hilldale Road, Thunder Bay, ON P7B5E3). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
