It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Assuntina Maletta (Thunder Bay, Ontario), who passed away on March 10, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Colosimo and Sarafina Colosimo; her husband Vincenzo Maletta; and her brother-in-law Vince. She is survived by: her children, Louie (Renata), Francesca, Vlad (Christine), Rocky (Kathleen), Carmen and Enzo (Carla); her grandchildren, Vince (Maya), Justin (Jamie), Vanessa, Natasha, Adrian (Ashley), Andrea (Mike), Michael (Lori), Matthew (Taylor), Luca, Dianna, Nathan, Patrick (Kim), Sarah (Steve), Jae-Lyn (Ben), Bella (James) and Mikayla; her great grandchildren, Anthony, Emma, Aliana, Finn, Marcus, Ava, Jameson, Aiden, Lilly, Jaxon, Truett and Rowan; her siblings, Gina (Luigi), Tatina and Angelo (Anna Maria); and her caregiver Jeff. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews.
