She was predeceased by: her parents, Cyril Bannister and Alice Bannister; her husband Robert Hartviksen; her children, Susan Furlotte (Don) and Ken Hartviksen (Connie); and her granddaughter Melissa Furlotte.

She is survived by: her children, Grant Hartviksen (Grace) and Karen Gavan (Michael Leonard); her children-in-law, Connie Hartviksen and Don Furlotte; her sisters, Eva Taylor and Carol Perozak; her grandchildren, Jennifer Hamilton (Chris), Mandy Ahtila (Mike), Keely Cambly (Steve), Kellen Hartviksen (Rachel), Shawn Hartviksen (Armelle), Alison Celan (Bojan) and Melanie Gavan (Chris); and her great grandchildren, Zak Hamilton, Barry, Violet Ahtila, Nash Cambly, Ryker Hartviksen and Emma Celan. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
