She is survived by: her brother-in-law Doug; her children, Brad and Suzanne; her son-in-law Dorrie Barber; her grandchildren, Jack and Sasha Barber; her siblings, Cliff Ojala and Sharon Johnston; Doug (Sheila).

In lieu of flowers, and in recognition of her love of animals (particularly birds) donations in Barb's name can be gifted in her memory to the Thunderbird Wildlife Rescue in Thunder Bay.
