He was predeceased by: his son Brent Abraham; his parents, James Abraham and Frances Abraham; and his siblings, Sydney, Edgar Abraham, Friedna Desmoulin and Diane Grant.

He is survived by: his daughter Raquelle Shebagabow; and his siblings, Dorothy Chapais-Legarde (Gilbert) of Longlac, Jocelyn Bananish (Dennis) of Longlac, Pauline Dore (Linus) of Longlac, Veronica Waboose (Ervin) of Longlac, Mary Waboose (Claude) of Longlac, Connie Abraham (Ken) of Longlac and Wendell Abraham (Rwanda) of Thunder Bay. He is also survived by his four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
