He was predeceased by: his former wife Mary Elizabeth Bell; his parents, Edwin Greaves and Aune Greaves; his former wife Mary Greaves; and his son-in-law Dennis Oksanen.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Keegan of Michael's Church; his children, Bill Greaves Jr. (Dawn), Susan Oksanen Porlier (David) and Sandra Greaves; his stepchildren, Susan Simpson (Evan) and Jeff Keegan (Joanne); and his siblings, Betty McKenney (Frank), Bud Greaves (Gen), Denny Greaves (Mair) and Carol Neff (Rob). He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, and twenty-two great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you sing a song, tell a silly joke, and hug the ones you love. Memorial donations be given to the Children's Wish Foundation, Saint Michael and All Angels Anglican Church – Helping Hands School Project, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF Canada), Autism Ontario, or a charity of your choice.
