He was predeceased by: his siblings, Norbert Mason and Sherri Kakepetum. He is survived by: his wife Kelly; his sons, Keigan Matthew (Eden), Trighten Charles and Bailor Dwayne; his stepdaughter Oaklyn; his mother Leta Mason (Kakegamic); his mother-in-law Simone Wanakamik; and his siblings, Rochelle Meekis, Ashley Mason, Zeena Meekis, Klaws Meekis and Christopher Kakegamic. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Jenkens Funeral Home (226 Syndicate Ave S, Thunder Bay, ON P7E1C8). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
