He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Forbes and Amy Forbes; and his sisters, Joyce Forbes-Cattani (Barry) and Margaret Forbes-Uchacz (Peter). He is survived by: his wife Anna; his children, David Galandziej and Justyna Poling; his grandchildren, Olivia and Noah; and his sister Janet Forbes. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in Manitoba, Ontario and the United States as well as numerous close friends.
