He was predeceased by: his brother Edwin; his parents, Claire Taylor and Edwin Taylor; and his parents-in-law, Jenny and Herman Prenger.

He is survived by: his wife Jenny Prenger; his children, Kasey Etreni (Alf), Jodi Taylor (Dave), Tania Bouchard (Jay) and Carl Taylor (Christine); his grandchildren, Kayla (Jeff), Brooklyn Etreni (Zavier), Lily, Finn Taylor and Bryn Bouchard; and his sisters-in-law, Rita Perrier and Marge Hurdon (Jim). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Carl's memory may be made to the Cancer Clinic or the Cardiovascular Unit at TBRHSC.
