We bid farewell to Carla Maronese (Thunder Bay, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 6, 2026 at the age of 98. Carla touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the vast expanse of eternity, Carla shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Carla farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Severino; her parents, Antonio Buso and Elisabetta Cecilia Buso; and her siblings, Carlo (Narciso) and Giovanna.
She is survived by: her sons, Joseph and Vincent (Bernadette) of Sudbury; her grandchildren, Shaun of Ottawa and Lisa Marie (Brendan); and her brother Paolo Buso (Marzia). She is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces.
