He was predeceased by: his parents, Mario Vacca and Giuseppina Vacca; his son-in-law Ralph Savoie; his brother-in-law Terry Trizpit; and his nephew Frank Vacca.
He is survived by: his wife Maria; his children, Mario Vacca, Josie Savoie, Aldo Vacca and Lisa Maertens (Ronnie); his granddaughters, Cassidy Savoie and Gabriella Maertens; and his sisters, Angelina Trizpit, Giovannina Vacca (Carmelino) and Dora Armenti (Mike). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, Funeral Services for Carmen will be held privately for family in the Chapel of Harbourview Funeral Centre on Thursday, August 12, 2021 presided by Rev. Msgr. Wearing of masks or face coverings by everyone and maintaining social distancing of 6 feet is mandatory for those attending the services.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Our Hearts at Home Campaign.
