She was predeceased by: her parents, William Carmody and Eva Carmody. She is survived by: her children, Carol, Cindy Whittington (Peter) and Patrick McLeod (Denise); her grandsons, Brian (Alicia) and Matthew McLeod (Melissa); her stepgrandsons, Steve and Scott Whittington (Leslie); and her siblings, Ken Carmody and Julie Johnson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
