He was predeceased by: his parents, Marino Sacchetti and Doralice Sacchetti (DiGabriele); his siblings, Benito (Italy), Corrado (Belgium), Pasquale (Thunder Bay), Lucio (West Vancouver) and Mafalda; and his siblings' children, Marino and Gianni (Italy).
He is survived by: his granddaughter Gabriella Elena; and his children, Leon Marino, Joshua, Ashley, Paolo Antonio, Sara, Matthew, Samantha, Emma and Andrew.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony's R. C. Church (123 Hilldale Rd, Thunder Bay, ON P7G1H6). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. An entombment was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the St. Andrew's Catholic Cemetery (690 Oliver Rd, Thunder Bay, ON P7B6S6).
