He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Gasper Gomez and Helen Sakuntala Chandra Bai; and his brothers, Philip Gomez and Gilbert Gomez. He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthia Gomez (Geoffrey Ritchie) and Angela Gomez; his grandchildren, Jonathan Gomez, Isaiah Miller, Mya Miller, Ava Ritchie, Natasha Fosti (Cole Chruszcz), Nicolas Nordstrom, Joshua Nordstrom, Liam Nordstrom, Mia Gomez and Talen John Gottfred Gomez; his great grandchildren, Luna Chruszcz and Elliot Chruszcz; his former wife Sylvia Gomez (George Gallinger); and his siblings, Mabel Brigante Gomez, Julia Gomez Colomb and Alex Gomez. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Westfort Chapel (420 Gore St W, Thunder Bay, ON P7E6J2). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
