He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy and Annie; and his siblings, Ed, Ken, Walter, Len, Robert, Mildred and Lillian.

He is survived by: his sons, Colin (Julie) and Randy (Lori); his grandchildren, Ava, Chet and Bethany; and his sister Muriel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
