It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clayton Shapwaykeesic (Thunder Bay, Ontario), who passed away on April 18, 2025, at the age of 40, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Marceline and Dennis Sr. Shapwaykeesic; his aunts and uncles, Dennis Jr., Leo Bouchard, Darlene, Linda and Charlotte; and also Katherine Lachinette.

He is survived by: his parents, Wayne Shapwaykeesic and MaryJane Shapwaykeesic; his siblings, Ian (Pras), Leon and Kathy; his children, Keiton, Kallie, Aubree, Tyden and Delilah; his nieces and nephews, Hailey Jane, Andre, Mark Jr., Teigan and Tatum; and his aunts and uncles, Nancy, Yvonne, Jeanette, Lucy, Valerie, Ambrose and Leslie (Sandra). He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
