It is with sadness that the passing of Darrell Louis McKinnon (Thunder Bay, Ontario) is shared. Darrell, born on September 15, 1963, passed away on September 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Darrell will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honour Darrell by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Darrell is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Darrell’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey McKinnon and Dorothy McKinnon; and his sister Cheryl. He is survived by: his siblings, Donna Ruddell (Terry) of Edmonton, Harvey of Calgary, Robin Forbes (Bruce) of Calgary, Terry and Lyle (Margie) of Thunder Bay. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Superior Inn (555 Arthur St W, Thunder Bay, ON P7E5R5).
