He was predeceased by: his parents, Zelma and Walter; his brother David; his brother-in-law Gordon; and his parents-in-law, Maurice and Peggy.
He is survived by: his wife Valerie Modin; his children, Michael, Ian (Teresa) and Amber (Nick); his siblings, Valerie and Wally; and his sister-in-law Terry. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
